SuSy internship Lukács Levente at Workshop Foundation

In the frame of the SuSy – Support System activity, Workshop Foundation is welcoming the Hungarian artist Lukács Levente for an internship in their institution. 

Levente Lukacs graduated in June 2018 at the Hungarian Ballet Academy as a modern dancer. He is exceptionally active within his generation as artist, performer, creator, activist, organizer. With his 6 moths at WSF he got more involved of the professional, social and administrational life of the Hungarian and international dance scene. He participated in the everyday work, life of the Foundation but his main role was to make more and stronger links between the WSF and the younger generation of dance artists.

Levente gained detailed knowledge on grant writing, project evaluation, communication with different target groups (partners, artists, audience). He got involved in project implementation, Leventa was responsible for WSF’s D. I. Y. – Dance It Yourself workshop series during the spring of 2019. In the frame of D. I. Y. he was in contact with the companies/teachers (Cie Emanuel Gat, Cie Sharon Eyal, Kaori Ito, Ann Van den Broek), made the contracts and financial administration but also he did the promotion of the events and were in contact with the participants.

Levente had the chance to take part in two international professional meeting during his internship:

-       Aerowaves Spring Forward Festival in Val-de-Marne, France in april 2019 and

-       GPS (Global Practice Sharing) in-region meeting during the Baltic Dance Platform in may, 2019.
