Open Call Dance Hub Residency Bucharest

The 4Culture Association and WASP Studios are launching a call for applications for the Dance Hub 2022 residency programme, which supports the research, production and presentation of new artistic projects.

The call is addressed to Romanian contemporary dance and performance artists working in a national and/or international transdisciplinary context. The residency supports research and production projects carried out by artists and/or artists' collectives, which focus on the relationship between art and technology, art and society, and which are designed to be presented both in cultural spaces and outdoors and/or online.

The selected projects will benefit within Dance Hub 2022 from financial support (fees) and workspace (at WASP Working Art Space and Production, in Bucharest).
At the end of the residencies there will be public presentations of the creations, in different stages of work (work in progress and/or premiere).

- Application deadline: 7 August 2022
- Duration*: 8.08.2022 - 15.09.2022
- The application contains:
- CV (in Romanian or English) and artistic portfolio (if available).
- a short biography (maximum ½ page) and project description (maximum 2 pages) - both in Romanian and English
- other attachments relevant to the application (detailed project description, photos, photo/video/sketch documentation, sketches, etc.), archived and submitted via download link (e.g. Google Drive, wetransfer.com, myairbridge.com, dropbox.com, etc.)
