Lau Lukkarila – Lapse and the Scarlet Sun

Lau Lukkarila is working on their latest production "Lapse and the Scarlet Sun" and is receiving a co-production support for the development period from danceWEB / the LLB project.

Lapse is a duet in progress by Luca Bonamore and Lau Lukkarila that brings together iconic moments and best-before dances in an imagined karaoke bar. Bonamore and Lukkarila study their relationship to symptomatic numbness and practice fusing apathy by lapsing into dancing. Emotionally compelling sound and lingering videos of garden roses frame sweaty dance sequences.
