Wild Card residency for Emilie Gregersen & Lydia Ostberg Diakite

Emellie Gregersen and Lydia Ostberg Diakite, Scandinavian duo called POWDER, were on residency program in the frame of LLB EU project, in Zagreb, from 14^th to 30^th April, 2018, organized by Tala dance center, invited and selected by Cullberg Ballet.

 The result of a two-week residency and work entitled "Very importing" was presented to the public presentation on Saturday, April 27, 2018. In Tala Dance Center.

POWDER, Emilie Gregersen and Lydia Östberg Diakité have a practice led approach to working with sensuality in dance. Through their work, POWDER invites to a poetic and complex understanding of the sensual body. They question how to deal with sensuality as a threshold between private and public?

Emilie Gregersen (DK) and Lydia Östberg Diakité (SE) met in 2013 at The Danish National School of Performing Arts, where they both have an education degree in dance and choreography. Together they form the choreography duo POWDER.In april 2017 they did a residency at SKOGEN in Gothenburg, which led to their continuous project VERY IMPORTING. They have latest been working with the dance collective Fanclub, DD Dorvillier and Paula Caspão on the project “WE ARE DANCERS”.
