Wild Card residency for Ada Kobusiewicz in Berlin

October 18 – November 8, 2015 at Uferstudios Berlin in co-operation with Inter-University Center for Dance (HZT Berlin). Ada Kobusiewicz participated in the workshop „Performing Matter“.

Experience report Ada Kobusiewicz:

„It was an honour and a source of pride to assist in the workshop in Uferstudios in Berlin given by Augusto Corrieri. His knowledge in the field of performance confirms excellent choice of the workshop Performing Matter as a part of contribution on my research. It approached my idea of theoretical and practical research and allowed me to increase my knowledge about performing matter and performance in general. Besides, I would like to add about professionality and competence of administrative staff, especially many thanks I would like to give to Barbara Friedrich, who helps me with all administrative issues and introduced me to the art scene in Berlin. My aim in the workshop was to enrich my research project The motion of bodies. Four state of

matter by exploring artistic research and practice also through a collaboration with performing and visual artists from HZT Berlin. I could observe an interest to share and develop artistic knowledge in the field of performing matter between all participants. By approaching art through research, and research through art, my project The motion of bodies. Four state of matter hopes to cast a multidisciplinary gaze on performing art. The scholarship that I received gave me possibility to create a space for critical reflection that generate new, expanded notions of performance in my artistic research. The result of my research has a significant interest in my project and it will be include in the exhibition of the project The motion of bodies. Four state of matter in February in Graz, Austria.
