Wild Card residency at Riksteatern for Malika Fankha and Maureen Kaegi

STOCKHOLM ARTIST RESIDENCY

30 October – 18 November 2017 at Riksteatern / Norsborg, Sweden

In the frame of the Life Long Burning Wild Cards 2017, danceWEB was looking for artists interested in an artist residency at Riksteatern, hosted by Cullberg Ballet.

The program offers a residency of 3 weeks for an artistic duo at Riksteatern with artistic, administrative and technical support. The artists have the possibility to join a workshop with Eleanor Bauer, together with dancers from the Cullberg Ballet in the afternoon between November 13 to 17.

Where: Riksteatern / Norsborg, Sweden

A participation in the residency includes:
- travel expenses (within Europe) & local travel card (SL card)
- per diem of €40,- per person for 21 days
- accommodation in central Stockholm
- black box studio (technical requirements should be stated in the application)
- the possibility to take a class with the company and work with the dancers (on a voluntary base)


danceWEB chose the Austrian based artists Malika Fankha and Maureen Kaegi for this slot that are working on their latest artistic project "SAUNA" that premiers on 12 & 13 January 2018 at the Viennese WUK.
