Wild Card participation in CO-existing residency programme for Sara Lanner
CO-existing is a programme that brings together professionals in the field of contemporary dance, choreography and performance, and enables them to share space where they meet and work together for 7-10 days. Each of the participants will propose and exchange diverse formats of work and collaboration that will co-function together as a programme of CO-existing.
Co-existing consist of 3 situations: CO-llaborating (residential laboratory around alternative potential productions), Fest happening (collective self-curated festival for proposing own or others already produced works) and Closed Meeting (closed door meeting for initiating network around alternative production modes).
CO-llaborating (10.-19.04.2017) is a residential laboratory imagined as a space at which the structure of functioning is not strictly defined, yet offers existence. Based on our needs, we propose a space (in Skopje) in which we will function through the principle of CO (co-existing, co-rehearsing, co-performing, co-practicing, co-teaching) by the rule of “invite us to invite you”.
Fest Happening (20.-21.04.2017) is a festival imagined as space where the structure of curating is not based on a system of choosing art works but on a system where already chosen participants of the residential laboratory propose their own or other’s art works they would like to present.
Based on our needs, we propose a space (in Skopje) in which we will function through the principle of self-curation.
Closed meeting (in between there) is imagined as a "closed door space" in which the structure of functioning stays not defined. Based on our needs, we propose a space for discussing other perspectives in relation to alternative production approaches.
