RESPONSES - Laboratory on Feedback in Artistic Processes & Symposium, 18 – 20 January 2018

Under the title RESPONSES – how to communicate (about) dance, the third Laboratory on Feedback in Artistic Processes and a symposium on the topic of dance communication towards the audience takes place from 18–20 January 2018.

In our third Laboratory on Feedback in Artistic Processes we concentrate again on organization, effects and methodologies of feedback in artistic processes, after having been enriched in the last couple of years by the deviation of adapting artistic feedback formats onto the exchange with audiences. In this internal Laboratory we want to concentrate on the different roles one adopts as feedback giver and feedback receiver and their adjacent fields of expertise as artists, dramaturges, curators, teachers and coaches. Besides reflecting on how to organize feedback, how to prepare for feedback we also discuss and experiment how specifics of language actually inform and form feedback processes and their effects on the artistic proceedings.

Symposium on the topic of dance communication, 19 & 20 January 2018

Berlin and (inter) national dance transfer experts, artists and curators split off into various panels to discuss the topics of “Transfer in Urban Society”, “Dance and Communication”, “Transfer Quality” and “Transfer as Transformation”.
