TEACHBACK BUCHAREST 2017

4Culture organized a workshop seminar in the frame of Explore Festival 12^th edition, which took place at WASP between 26^th and 28^th of September 2017, and had as guests’ speakers Sergiu Matis (Berlin) and Inge Koks (Berlin/Amsterdam). The workshop gathered local artists who discussed about the current European context and the local scene, education, production and dissemination of contemporary performance and dance projects, as well as transdisciplinary projects within contemporary arts. Sergiu worked creatively with the participants, handing out tools for improvisation, not only individually, but in larger groups as well. Inge Koks, have led a discussion on the matter of dance culture, performances, and also on the great variety of arts and crafts. Both of them have made use of imaginative exercises that suited the participants' different personalities. Teachback Seminar was a valuable training indeed for the visionaries that are eager to include movement into their creations. 15 participating and benefiting artists from three cities of Romania (Timisoara, Iasi, Bucharest).
