SuSy – Marie-Cécile Perez in Montpellier

Marie-Cécile Perez did an internship in the production and touring department of the CCN Montpellier from April 1 to September 30, 2015. After this internship Marie-Cécile Perez continued to work at the CCN of Montpellier in the framework of the “civic service” device (October 2015 to October 2016). In November 2016, she will be hired as part-time production and touring assistant.

“My internship within the production team of the National Choreographic Centre of Montpellier gave me the opportunity to learn how to manage several aspects of the field of choreographic production with Christian Rizzo’s company.

Indeed, firstly, through administrative aspects, with the preparation of contracts and the organization of financial aspects between the CCN and the theatres inviting the company to present shows. Then, also with the logistic organization of tours in France and abroad, ahead of the performances, by making the connection between the theatres and the company members, finally also during some tours, the evening of the performances, where I had the chance to accompany Christian Rizzo’s performers.

In a number of occasions, I also contributed to some communicational aspects in the CCN: with the translation of various official communication media printed by the centre, some help with communicating with international partners and proof-reading a number of official documents (media, emails, patronage application etc.). Finally, the internship also gave me the opportunity to work with the team during public openings.” Marie-Cécile Perez.
