Life Long Burning WILD CARDS is part of the European project Life Long Burning, developed and organized by a network of twelve partner institutions (4Culture/RO, CCN Montpellier/FR, Cullberg Ballet/SE, danceWEB/AT, Het Veem Theater/NL, Lokomotiva/MK, Station/RS, Tala Dance Center/HR, Uferstudios/DE, Ultima Vez/BE, Workshop Foundation/HU, workspacebrussels/BE).
The program aims at fostering the transnational circulation of artistic development and the further education in the field of contemporary dance and choreographic research. It consists of residencies, choreographic researches with established companies as well as scholarships for further education for emerging choreographers and professional dancers.
In the frame of the Life Long Burning Wild Cards, 4Culture is offering a residency in Bucharest in the frame of eXplore dance festival to its Wild Card partner danceWEB (AT).
When: 22 September - 5 October, 2014 Where: WASP - Working Art Space and Production Bucharest (RO), in the frame of eXplore dance festival What: 4Culture, the host of this residency, is providing a 10 days residency at WASP - Working Art Space and Production Bucharest for maximum 2 persons. The residency includes one or two public presentations (work in progress or finished works) during eXplore dance festival with technical rehearsal on the same day, free tickets for the performances of eXplore dance festival, travel costs within Europe to Bucharest for max. 2 persons, accommodation for max. 2 persons, Per Diem of EUR 20,-/day for max. 2 persons and a total production fee of EUR 1.500,- danceWEB selected the Austrian artist Julia Danzinger for this residency.
