Nomad Dance Institute Advocacy Event Sofia 2015

The Sofia summit of Nomad Dance Advocates is called "Advocates of Dance" and is scheduled between May 13 and 15, 2015.

The core topic is the question of spaces and institutions for dance: what kind of institutions do the independent dance scenes on the Balkans need, what kind of partnership on local and regional level are possible and significant so these institutions can support the development of the scenes. 
Another topic is the one of regional collaboration fund.

The Nomad Dance Academy partners had a pre-meeting in Sofia in the period from June 30 to July 2, 2014 dedicated to the program and organizational development of this event. Read more about it >>here

This Advocacy Event is followed by a working session on May 16 of the Archive group, defining the methodology of the next steps as well as tools for presentation of the materials towards larger audiences.

On May 17 a public talk will be held about the Archive project in the frame of "Tracing histories of contemporary dance in Bulgaria" at the Theatre Studies Department at the Theatre Academy in Sofia.
