HINOKI

The production is realised in an international coproduction with 6 dancers of a wide international experience.

"My aim is to create a highly physical piece digging into the extremes, which applies music, text and movement as equal elements.

We examine the concepts of permanent and momentariness, people’s reactions to learnt and instinctive behaviour by creating situations on stage that mirror reality"

"As a choreographer I always aim at the creation of forms that push the boundaries of the body with the use of clarity and simplicity. With the use of physical exhaustion the performers get rid of the option to act the scenes, instead they experience what gives a lot more exciting ground for the creation of a performance." (M.M.)
