Co-production "BRIGHT" by Christian Bakalov

BRIGHT is a leap in the dark. Into private or shared spaces where boundaries are defined by the intensity of your own curiosity. The project operates with the language of performance and visual installations and flirts with near-darkness.

With his project , Christian Bakalov defines the limits of his artistic interest to create an ambiguous art piece and gives us a personal vision on how to experience a performance as a spectator and a performer at the same time. He considers the buildings that he is investigating as living organisms in which «We» are the blood that will flow between the different installations.
With BRIGHT, Bakalov is proposing his «permanent situations» in which the body of the spectator is activated and becomes at the same time the subject and the object of the installation. BRIGHT is the first part of a trilogy developed from the concept of «Eternity».
